RVA provided significant input to the preparation for decommissioning, and competently managed the specification for demolition, contract drafting and selection of a Principal Contractor. During the demolition phase, RVA imposed and maintained a strict Safety, Health and Environmental regime, in line with GrowHow’s corporate expectations. Method Statements and Risk Assessments were scrutinized and work in the field was pro-actively audited for compliance. RVA also provided contract management, valuation and completion certification.

As the project evolved, GrowHow extended RVA’s remit to include a ground remediation contract and a complex dismantling-for-export contract. All contracts were completed in a timely manner, and no disputes or claims arose.
