Marafiq Power and Water Utility Company wished to undertake a number of detailed surveys and studies, to evaluate options around the viability of selected power generation assets over an extended period. RVA was contacted because of its 30 years’ experience in the planning and management of large-scale, complex and high hazard decommissioning projects, across the world. It was also able to demonstrate a significant track record of working within the power station decommissioning sector.
Following detailed discussions between our companies, a fit for purpose scope of work was agreed and to ensure Marafiq received a cost effective and responsive service, RVA entered into a successful partnership agreement with GCC Labs, based in KSA.
Using a combination of visiting UK personnel and local resources, we always found RVA responsive to our requirements and that any queries or challenges were dealt with positively and promptly. As with many complex projects, there can be unknown and unforeseen issues. RVA’s ability to find rapid, efficient and workable solutions was noted on every occasion. All the contracted services outputs were delivered promptly and precisely to our requirements.
I would have no hesitation in engaging with RVA in the future or recommending them to others with decommissioning requirements.
